Terms & Conditions of Service


Supply of Ryans Wheelie Wood

Deliveries are made based on an ‘authorised to leave’ basis. The customer becomes liable for the bin & its contents once delivered to their property or business premises.

Bins remain the property of Ryans Wheelie Wood & are loaned on the following conditions:
1.   The Ryan's Wheelie Wood bins provided are used for the purpose of storing firewood purchased from us & are      not to be used for any other purpose.
2   The bins are heavy & it is recommended that two adults (not children) move the bin if required. The bins are to      be empty, clean & in good condition when receiving a replacement.
3.  Firewood bin/s may be picked up as part of the swap & go service model, at the end of the season or if the      account is deemed inactive after a period three (3) months. An email will be sent if this is the case advising      collection instructions.
4.  If the bin is damaged, contaminated, subject to theft or not returned, Ryans Wheelie Wood reserves the right to      keep the deposit held as payment for the bin.
5.  Wood supplied is “mixed hardwood” there are no guarantees of a particular wood species.
6.  Ryans Wheelie Wood will not refund firewood not used.

The firewood supplied is seasoned mixed hardwood which has been sustainably sourced. The size of split wood will vary from small to medium in the Small Split Pizza Wood & small to large in the Regular Size Split to cater for different sized wood heaters/fireplaces & pizza ovens. You may need to further split the wood supplied to suit your requirements. Ryans Wheelie Wood Bins are loosely filled by hand. Each bin has a volume of 240L & will contain no less than 90kg not exceeding the capacity of the bin. Bins for replacement must be easily accessible for our driver as well as in clear view from the street.
 
Return of Bin(s) or Ending the Service
The bins supplied remain the property of Ryans Wheelie Wood. If you require a bin collection due to no longer requiring the service or at the end of the winter season, please contact us so we can arrange collection on the next run. The refund of your deposit will be processed once your bin/s have been inspected & deemed suitable.

Bin Refunds
When a Bin Deposit refund is payable, the bin(s) must be empty, clean & undamaged to qualify for a full refund. Refunds are paid via EFT to the original payment method used within 5 to 10 days. Refunds can only be sent back to the original card used. It is not possible to send a refund to a different destination (for example, another card or bank account). Refunds to expired or cancelled cards are handled by the customer’s card issuer and, in most cases, credited to the customer’s replacement card.

Deliveries
Once an order is placed & payment confirmed, Ryans Wheelie Wood will notify you of the scheduled delivery day via email. Please leave empty bins out in clear view for collection & our driver will replace it with your full replacement bin. Please advise where to leave bins for new orders in the delivery notes section when ordering, we will endeavour to place bins in desired area, but this is at our driver's discretion, this avoids the need to be home at the time of delivery.  Ryans Wheelie Wood will not be held liable for any loss or damage by the product or delivery process along with any misuse of the products provided.
